Summer Internships With Metro Detroit Golfers

Are you a student with a passion for golf, content creation, and social media? Metro Detroit Golfers is excited to announce that we’re hiring Five summer interns to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the world of sports media and event management.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with one of the largest golf communities in the country while building your resume, learning new skills, and — of course — spending time on the golf course.

Internship Overview

Our summer internship is designed to be both fun and productive, offering real-world experience across a variety of areas. Here’s what you can expect:

Job Duties

• Assist in creating golf video content, both on and off camera

• Support the planning and execution of our golf outings and events

• Help manage and publish content across the MDG website and social platforms

  
  

Time Commitment

Interns will join the MDG team for approximately one day per week, which will include:

• Field work filming video content and assisting with events

• In-office time for brainstorming, scheduling content, and executing digital/media tasks like editing videos or designing graphics

  
  

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for individuals who are:

• Currently enrolled in college (preference given to those eligible for academic credit)

• Passionate about golf and excited to be part of a growing golf media brand

• Interested in marketing, video production, social media, and community building

• Comfortable both behind the scenes and in front of a camera (though on-camera participation is optional)
