Regional X-Golf Tournament


Metro Detroit Golfers (MDG) is excited to announce the Regional X-Golf Tournament, a multi-week indoor competition designed to bring together some of the most competitive golfers across Southeast Michigan.


Running March 16 through April 5, the event will be played on the renowned Copperhead Course at Innisbrook, a championship layout known for its challenging closing stretch often referred to as the “Snake Pit.” While the tournament will take place on the X-Golf simulator platform, the course selection adds an extra layer of strategy and difficulty for participating teams.


The question is simple: Are you the best team in Southeast Michigan?

This tournament offers golfers a chance to prove it.

Tournament Format


  • Format: 3-Person Scramble

  • Dates: March 16 – April 5

  • Course: Copperhead Course at Innisbrook (X-Golf simulator format)

  • Entry Fee: None


Players simply pay for their simulator time.


Teams must alert the X-Golf staff before starting their round so the correct course and tournament format can be selected.


Scores will be recorded and tracked throughout the tournament window to determine the final leaderboard.

1st Place

  • Three $1,000 Boyne Golf Gift Cards


2nd Place

  • Threesome at Red Run Golf Club

  • Threesome at Oakhurst Golf & Country Club


3rd Place

  • Long Drink Golf Bags


$500 Hole-in-One Bonus


There’s also an exciting hole-in-one bonus available during tournament rounds.

  • $500 payout to any player who records a hole-in-one

  • The Copperhead layout features five par-3 holes, giving players multiple opportunities to cash in.


How to Play


  1. Assemble your 3-person team.

  2. Visit a participating X-Golf location during the tournament window.

  3. Inform staff you are playing the Regional X-Golf Tournament round.

  4. Play the designated Copperhead Course scramble format.


Your score will count toward the tournament leaderboard.


A Regional Indoor Showdown


Indoor simulator tournaments have become one of the fastest-growing ways for golfers to compete year-round. With realistic course simulation, competitive scoring, and a flexible schedule, the Regional X-Golf Tournament offers players the chance to test their skills against teams from across Southeast Michigan.
